Your vessel, handled — from appointment to final account.

Vessel agency, ship supply, crew handling, marine engineering, freight forwarding and customs clearance at every Omani port, across the UAE and in Morocco. One coordinator owns your call, and every charge on the account says how it was arrived at.

What we do

Six things, done properly.

Everything a vessel needs between arrival and sailing, and the freight and clearance work that goes on ashore when she has gone.

Vessel agency

Full agency at every port we cover, and protective agency where owners want their own eyes on a call somebody else is handling. One coordinator owns the call from appointment to disbursement account, and the account itemises what the port charged.

  • Agency attendance
  • Owners representation
  • Port clearance and registration
  • Pilotage, inward and outward
  • Port dues and tariffs
  • Offshore and onshore support

Ship supply

Provisions, bonded stores, fresh water and safety equipment, delivered alongside or at anchorage. What arrives is checked against what was ordered before anything is invoiced — paying for a quantity nobody ordered is the commonest way a call quietly costs more than it should.

  • Provisions and bonded stores
  • Ship stores supply
  • Fresh water supply
  • Safety equipment and spares
  • Bunkering — diesel supply

Crew handling

Sign-ons and sign-offs through Muscat, Sohar, Duqm and Salalah: visas, immigration, quarantine formalities, transport and hotels. Our PRO meets the crew at the aircraft door, not at the hotel.

  • Meet and assistance
  • Immigration formalities
  • Express visa issuance
  • Health inspection
  • Crew transport
  • Hotel accommodation

Marine engineering and ship repair

Repairs that do not need a drydock, carried out at berth or at anchorage: engine overhauls, pumps, turbochargers and coolers, in-board crankshaft grinding, white-metal bearing remetalling and underwater hull cleaning.

  • Engine repair and overhaul
  • Pump, turbocharger and cooler repair
  • In-board crankshaft grinding
  • Bearing remetalling — white metal
  • Underwater hull cleaning
  • Marine spare parts supply

Freight forwarding and customs

Sea freight full and part container load, air freight and land transport across the region, with import and export clearance and the duty coordination that goes with it — including the spares that have to reach a vessel before she sails.

  • Sea freight — FCL
  • Sea freight — LCL
  • Air freight
  • Land transport
  • Door-to-door delivery
  • Customs clearance
  • Import and export documentation
  • Duty and tax coordination

Warehousing and trading

Short and long-term storage with inventory management, packing and consolidation — for spares waiting on a vessel and cargo waiting on a berth. Chartering, sale and purchase and marine surveying sit alongside it.

  • Short and long-term storage
  • Warehouse storage
  • Inventory management
  • Packing and consolidation
  • Vessel chartering
  • Vessel sale and purchase
  • Marine surveying
  • Import and export trading

Where we work

Ten ports, three countries.

Oman end to end — Sohar, Duqm, Salalah, Muscat and Shinas — with attendance on the UAE east coast and in Morocco. The same standard at each: formalities started before the vessel arrives, not after she is alongside.

Calling somewhere not on this list? Ask anyway. We work with correspondents and will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.

Request a quotation

Tell us about the call.

The more you can give us, the closer the first figure will be. Nothing here is binding on either side — it goes to a coordinator, who comes back to you with a quotation.

What do you need?

This reaches Ocean Line’s operations queue directly. No price is quoted automatically — a coordinator reads it and comes back to you.

Contact

Or just send a message.

For anything that is not a quotation — a question, an introduction, a supplier offering a service. Urgent operational matters are better by phone, at any hour.

Ask Ocean

Ocean is our assistant on this site. It answers on what we do and where, in English or Arabic, and passes anything operational straight to the desk. It does not quote prices — a coordinator does that.
